Nathalie is a natural and instinctive yoga teacher. She has great depth of knowledge of the principles involved, the importance of creating a focussed, calming start to every practice and a sensitivity for each of her classes, whether in person or on Zoom. Every practice is different and  we are challenged yet encouraged and made to feel secure. Nathalie always makes sure we take care to work within our own limits without feeling any sense of failure if the asanas are too challenging. Her weekend workshops are carefully planned and she takes the opportunity to focus on specific aspects of yoga in more depth. These have been really valuable and enjoyable sessions leaving me all the more determined to find out more. Nathalie’s use of Sanskrit terminology as well as her gentle voice generates an authentic atmosphere during each practice and I always feel the benefits afterwards- calm and relaxed or calm and energised. (English terminology is also used to help those of us whose knowledge of Sanskrit is rather limited!)  Taking part in Nathalie’s outdoor sessions this summer was a real highlight for all of us - it was just magical. And all thanks to Nathalie’s calm, clear, gentle approach that makes all her practices so lovely.

Nathalie’s classes are just right for me - providing safe but strong guidance and encouragement to further extend my knowledge, enjoyment and understanding of yoga. Nathalie has a gentle and warm spirit and, guides you to carefully to reach your limit without pressure. I currently do three sessions a week and if possible would honestly do them everyday of the week. My strength and suppleness have improved significantly since beginning her classes four years ago and are one of the highlights of my life. As we finished the class the other day I realised that I come each week, become engrossed in the practise and leave without ever telling you how much I enjoy the class and value your teaching. I have an active, practical life where the bustle of my day only stops when I run out of energy at night. Coming to yoga on wednesday mornings takes an unusual space in my working week but the benefit I feel plentifully rewards setting that time aside. Your teaching is gentle - you praise and encourage; you are inclusive, knowledgeable and precise in your practise and you teach us to make personal progress within our individual abilities. Nathalie is wonderful. In a one-to-one session she had clearly prepared just for me, she showed me how I could adapt poses for my specific needs. She was kind and professional giving me encouragement and support with a gentle touch. She left me with written notes and diagrams I can refer to. Thanks for teaching the work shop on Saturday. It was just the sort of nurturing half day I needed. I enjoyed learning more about the chakras, also more time to practice and arrive back in my body. The length of the workshop was just long enough. I think I would have found longer too much. Your teaching has progressed so much over the past few years. Your teaching embodies the deeper level of spirituality that yoga has to offer. The food afterwards at Bara Brith was, as always, very good. It was nice to share with others what we had experienced.

 "We began taking home based yoga sessions with Nathalie in March 2015. We are both in our mid 60’s and hoped to improve flexibility, balance and general well being by Incorporating yoga into our exercise regime. 
We were complete beginners with some joint difficulties but Nathalie was very patient and tailored the  sessions and our progress to meet all our individual needs.
We now very much look forward to our regular yoga classes and have achieved really positive improvements plus we feel just great.
